🐾🐞Feast – The Dark Horses🐞🐾

The episode of Feast primarily gave us an insight into the past of Master Fu. We learnt about his mistake which led to the downfall of the Guardian Temple and the existence of other Miracle Boxes. There has already been much discussion on these topics, but I’m interested in a moment towards the end of the episode that I feel has been overlooked.
Nadja Chamack was making a broadcast regarding the discovery of the recovered temple. It was no surprise to see Gabriel and Nathalie watching with interest. What was more unexpected was that out of everyone who would have been watching/listening to the broadcast we are shown Tomoe Tsurugi and Audrey Bourgeois. I believe these two women are going to have significant roles in the future.
🌟Tomoe Tsurugi
We do not have a lot of information about Tomoe Tsurugi, yet she seems to be of significance to Gabriel Agreste. Here is what we do know.
♦️Tomoe was a champion fencer, so from this we can assume she was not always blind.
♦️She is Kagami’s mother, but we have no indication of her current marital status or who Kagami’s father is.
♦️She has business dealings with Gabriel Agreste. We saw her signing papers in ‘Animaestro’, she traveled with Gabriel, Adrien and Kagami to a wedding it ‘Backwarder’ and in ‘Stormy Weather 2’ Gabriel mentions in a memo to her ‘things may not be going exactly the way we planned, but change can be a good thing. I’m confident it will only strengthen our agreement in the end.” The question is, what exactly is this agreement?
♦️Her levels of strictness make Gabriel seem almost lenient. Although she tells Kagami that she is friends with Adrien, we discover in ‘Ikari Gozen’ that Kagami doesn’t even have his phone number and was practically forbidden from making friends.
♦️Tomoe has a severe mistrust of people which would indicate that she has been hurt or betrayed at some point.
I feel that whatever these dealing are that Tomoe Tsurugi has with Gabriel will come to light in season 4 and I don’t think it’s a good thing. I don’t believe Kagami has any idea what it is about and I count Kagami amoung the good guys, Tomoe I’m not so sure.
🌟Audrey Bourgeois
I believe there is a lot more than meets the eye with Audrey Bourgeois. She has a significant past history with both Gabriel and Emilie Agreste that has only been hinted at. Here is what can be pieced together:
♦️Audrey has spent a significant amount of time in New York to the point where she seemed to have abandoned her husband, Mayor Bourgeois and her daughter Chloe. It is suggested this is work related but that may not be the whole truth.
♦️In ‘Style Queen’ it was revealed that she discovered Gabriel as a designer and seems to credit herself with his success.
♦️It can be assumed that if she knew Gabriel from the beginning of his career, she would also know Emilie Agreste.
♦️Since the events of ‘Style Queen’, Audrey has opted to stay living in Paris.
♦️In the episode ‘Gorizilla’ we see the name A. Bourgeois as producer of Emilie Agreste’s film ‘Solitude’. It seems more likely this would refer to Audrey who is in a creative industry rather than her husband André.
I believe that Audrey Bourgeois will have a more significant role in season 4.
🚨Theory Time!🚨
On August 24, Lindalee Rose posted season 4 spoilers after her visit to Zag Studios. Among them was ‘secret siblings’. Many began to theorise about different students in Adrien and Marinette’s class, but what if the siblings are adults?
My theory is that Audrey Bourgeois is Emilie Agreste’s sister, perhaps a few years older. I don’t believe this was a close relationship, and there may be some rivalry or jealousy involved. It reminded my of Golden Era Hollywood sisters Joan Fontaine and Olivia de Havilland. This of course would also mean Chloe and Adrien are cousins. This would tie in with their close relationship as children and honestly, I would love for them to be cousins. As of this moment, we don’t know where Felix fits into any of this.
